Apple today launched its ultra-chic Apple Watch Hermès product line, as announced at the company’s media event last month.
Combining the existing Apple Watch hardware (only with the addition of a Hermès logo) with luxury leather straps from the Parisian fashion brand, the result is quite possibly the most stunning range of Apple Watches yet. They even come with unique Hermès watch faces.
Prices range from $1,100-$1,500.
Interestingly, it’s not just the material which is different to previous Apple Watches.
The Hermès range features three types of exclusive strap — including the “double tour,” which wraps twice around the wrist; the “single tour,” which is most like existing Apple Watch straps; and the gorgeous-looking “Cuff,” which Apple explains is, “inspired by equestrian fixtures.”
You can check out the full range of Hermès watches by visiting Apple’s website.
This launch marks a rare collaboration on the part of Apple with a high-end fashion brand. According to a Wall Street Journal article published recently, Apple valued the partnership so much that it even discussed its plans for the Watch before it had publicly acknowledged the device’s existence.
Jony Ive and Hermès execs agreed the deal over lunch in Paris. Nice work if you can get it!
