The Pope touched down in Washington D.C. yesterday as part of hit U.S. tour, and it might totally screw up whether you get your iPhone 6s pre-order delivered on September 25th.
Apple sent out emails to customers in Philadelphia and New York to inform them that even through their pre-order was placed early enough to be delivered on launch day, traffic restrictions in the area may delay the arrival of orders.
To make up for the pope clogging up traffic, Apple says it will be making deliveries on Saturday in most locations if you don’t you don’t get your device on time.

Here’s which zipcodes will be effected by the pope’s visit:
New York City: 10001, 10007, 10017, 10021, 10022, 10023, 10029
Philadelphia: 19102, 19103, 19104, 19106, 19107, 19109, 19123, 19130, 19146, 19147
Security protocols will cause UPS, FedEX, and USPS to experience delays on Thursday and Friday in New York and on Friday and Saturday in Philadelphia. UPS and FexEx may allow customers to route packages to areas that are unaffected by the pope’s visit. If you don’t live in one of those areas you should receive your iPhone 6s pre-order on September 25th, granted you placed it early enough.
