You’ve never seen someone so happy with an Apple Watch box

Talk about finding a unique way to recycle your Apple packaging!

A newly-expecting mother recently broke the news about her pregnancy to the father by hiding the positive pregnancy test in an Apple Watch — prompting a spontaneous heart-warming reaction.

Seriously, the guy couldn’t have been any more chuffed if he had just been handed a $17,000 Apple Watch Edition.

Either that or he’s wondering where the Apple Watch itself went.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Apple products used as part of positive, life-altering events. For instance, one iOS fan recruited a developer to code a special version of a game containing a wedding proposal — with just one button reading, “YES.” Another fan proposed to his missus by making her a custom Apple ad under the title iProposal (to be fair, it was 2007 — before such jokes were played out.)

There are also plenty of ways we’ve seen Apple devices reused, with a fairly comprehensive list of the best ones right here.

Admittedly, the video could be a fake aimed at racking up views, but the guy’s reaction seems genuine enough to make it hard to believe.

What’s the betting they call the kid Steve, Tim or Jony if it’s a boy?
