I’m just about tired enough of my green Apple Watch Sport band to be ready for a new color soon.
Lucky for me (and probably the rest of you who feel the same way), the latest rumor out of the blogosphere is that Apple will announce new colors at the September 9 event at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium next week.
While most of us assume the event will focus on iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus reveals, several outlets are reporting that the Apple Watch Sport bands will get an update.
Speculation on what colors is just that, but if the Watch bands given out to celebrities back in April as part of Fashion Week are any indication, we can assume we’ll see various flesh tones and more saturated colors like red, yellow and navy blue.
Whatever the result, I’m sure I’ll want one of these new ones when they’re available at my local Apple store sometime after the September announcement, which should also include iPhone models, a renewed Apple TV, and — hopefully — watchOS2’s availability.
