A person claiming to be China Telecom’s social media manager has published a new blog on Chinese social media, offering a few details about the upcoming iPhone 6s.

Most interestingly, the poster claims that — despite all the rumors to the contrary — he has not seen or heard any evidence supporting the existence of a pink handset.

The availability of a new color iPhone was first touted by KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo back in May, alongside many other details about the new handset which have since been backed up.

Kuo suggested that Apple planned to market rose gold iPhone 6s, using the same color used for some Apple Watch Edition variants. Since then, supposedly leaked photos have depicted what appears to be this pink iPhone 6s variant, which contrasts with the hot pink color used for the iPhone 5c.

In his post, China Telecom’s social media manager also “confirms” a few details about the iPhone 6s, such as the fact that it will boast 2GB of RAM, a new A9 processor, improved camera, and Force Touch.

Finally, he notes that the handset is likely to be available in China between the 18th and 25th of September.

Would the presence or lack of a pink iPhone 6s have any bearing on your decision to buy an iPhone 6s? Leave your comments below.
