There’s more evidence that preorders for the iPhone 6s will start on September 11, courtesy of a screenshot showing what appears to be information relating to a French mobile carrier.

If true, the date backs up reports that Apple will reveal the iPhone 6s at a media event on September 9, while the device will land in stores one week later on Friday, September 18. Apple typically makes the iPhone available for ordering two days after its announcement, and then starts shipping one week after that.

This year’s iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are reported to be the biggest incremental “s” releases in iPhone history, with features including a RAM upgrade, A9 processor, new pink color option, strengthened shell, improved Touch ID, Force Touch, and major camera upgrades both front and back.

There have also been reports of a 4-inch iPhone 6c, although recently we heard that this may not arrive until November.

It has also been suggested that Apple might unveil its new iPad Air and iPad mini devices at the September 9 media event, with the super-sized iPad Pro showing up later in 2015.
