Suckers slowly pop the cork on a bottle of champagne. Pros saber it off, exploding bubbly everywhere. But what do you do when you don’t have a sword? You pull out your iPhone.

In this video for Business Insider Singapore, you’ll see how to saber off the cork of a bottle of bubbly with just the blunt edge of an iPhone 5.

The trick, according to the video, is to hold the bottle at a 45 degree angle, find the seam, take aim, and strike through with the blunt edge of your iPhone 5. I might think twice about trying this at home, though, unless you have a steady hand.

It seems unlikely that an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus would work, since those devices are significantly thinner and more rounded, but it’s likely that an iPhone 4 or iPhone 4s would work. As always, your mileage may vary.

What I want to know is, how do I crack open a beer with an iPhone?
