I Don’t Care That It’s An April Fool, I Must Have One

From Think Geek comes the one April Fools joke that I really wish was real: the iCade. Bringing all your 1970s and 80s gaming memories back to life. In theory anyway.

Seen any other good April 1st gags while browsing around this morning?

I didn’t see too many, I was too busy transferring all my files over to my new Windows 7 machine. It’s incredible!

That actually looks really good, and I like firing up MAME so I would be so up for one. Pity its only an April 1st Spoof.

That one’s just cruel. iPad could easily run MAME and output to a real joystick. Would just need someone to compile and do the licensing legwork like the Commodore 64 emulator guys.

“I was too busy transferring all my files over to my new Windows 7 machine. It’s incredible!” – oh how much do i love sarcasm!

Eh, I’m sure the Windows 7 machine thing is an April Fools joke…seriously guys, this is Cult of Mac afterall.

Starbucks has an April Fools joke about two new drink sizes and Google has it’s homepage as Topkea. Mashable.com has the stories on both.

I SO wish this was real.. I even tried to order it :)

That looks like the typical sort of overpriced and slightly useless gadget you can buy right now. There is no reason why someone couldn’t market that.

It’s not a good April fool if it’s a actually quite a good idea. It’s a geek version of a digital photo frame, but one that shows pictures of classic games instead of pictures of your friends and family.

    I’d consider buying it.
