The zombies are here and they’re standing around waiting to be blown to bits. See, these are “Stupid Zombies” and the object of this third installment in the franchise is the same as the first two: use a knowledge of physics to bounce bullets around each level and kill as many zombies as you can with each shot.

Stupid Zombies 3 offers over 100 different levels to blast your way through using a shotgun, flare gun, or grenade launcher (it’s bouncy!) to rid the world of these intellectually challenged individuals who experience undeadness.

Check out the trailer below to see what I mean.

The zombies are placed differently each time you play through a level, so you’ll never get the same environment twice. You’ll have to explode a certain number of each color zombie on your way to complete the levels for an extra challenge.

You’ll tap and drag your finger around on the screen to decide where to send each shot, which can ricochet around the level, hitting zombies, exploding trash cans, and crates with which to smash even more zombies. This is where you’ll need to use that brain of yours as you calculate your best shot each time. It’s like a zombie-killing game of pool where you knock the undead into oblivion instead of balls into pockets.

The characters for each weapon are colorful and fun (my favorite is the grandma with the RPG), and the best extra visual gag is how the stupid zombies watch your bullet fly around the screen; I haven’t tired of watching their dumb faces doing that.

Ultimately, this free-to-play title from GameResort looks good, plays well, and offers some addictive “one more shot” gameplay, all for no investment on your part. You can buy in-game currency for extra shots when you fail to shoot enough of each color zombie, but for the most part, it’s just smooth, easy-playing, zombie-blasting fun. Give it a shot in the App Store or on Google Play today.
