This we week we got lost in the vast oasis of Instagram searching for some great photographers to recommend. We wandered down the road searching for fun feeds featuring motorcycles, adventurers, dogs and, oddly, pigeons.

What we found, once again, was how many people are using this amazing visual delivery tool to tell their stories. Sure, we found a ton of poorly done selfies and cliche sayings, but check out what cool stuff we found for you this week.

Stuck at your desk or running around the house working on your honey-do list and wish you were outside knee-deep in powder? Well, Mattias Fredricksson’s Instagram feed (@mattiasfredrikssonphotography) will either inspire you or make you mad as a hatter. Either way you can’t help but love what he is doing with is camera. He spends his days skiing and mountain biking. If neither of those activities is your cup of tea, you should still check out his feed for the photographs of his adorable Siberian Husky, Tikaani.

Speaking of dogs, you have to go check out Cheryl Senter’s (@cherylsenter) photographs of her dog. Get your eyes and heart on the photographs Senter is making of her muse.

Love vintage guitar porn? You have to follow Mark Agnesi, who runs the show at Norman’s Rare Guitars in Los Angeles. Norm’s is like Disney World for fans of old wood and everything geetar. Agnesi (@markagneis) is kind enough to take us behind the scenes and pull guitar cases from the back room to reveal what Norman’s is hoarding in those beautiful tweed cases. He even occasionally flips on the video and plays a couple licks on guitars most people can only dream of ever eyeballing.

Christopher Niemann’s illustrations make us happy. He is best known for his illustrations for The New York Times and The New Yorker, but his creative mind gets laid out for all the world to see on Instagram (@abstractsunday). Niemann takes everyday objects and mixes them with ingenious artistic strokes to make us do a double-take almost every time.

This is exactly what it says it is: David Stephenson photographs pigeons. Stephenson is a Kentucky-based freelance photographer who also happens to race pigeons. His Instagram feed (@thepigeonphotographer) is where these two glorious things collide. If you are not a fan of the pigeon, his photographs may just help change your mind.

@starwars

starwars

This feed bills itself as “the only official home of Star Wars on Instagram” and who are we to argue? At this point, there are not many official or unofficial photographs from the Star Wars series that are not all over the Internet, but this feed (@starwars) has some pretty lovely gems. It’s nice to have a little treat from The Force trickle into your life on a regular basis.

How many different ways can you photograph people surfing on motorcycles? Aaron Brimhall’s Instagram feed (@aaronbhall) attempts to answer this question, and the result is both thrilling and beautiful. But Brimhall is no one-trick pony: His photographs of motorcycles and motorcyclists are not to be missed.
