If you’ve been secretly longing to recreate that famous light cycle scene from TRON in real life, you’re now out of luck, as the only working model we know of has now sold at auctioneer Sotheby’s for a not-horrendous price of $77,000.

While it’s great that someone grabbed this fully-functional homage to a nerd cult-classic, the bad news is that it wasn’t you.

The 96 volt electric bike, built and finished in black and electric blue to look like the light cycles form the 2010 Tron: Legacy reboot, can actually be ridden–it’s got a computer-controlled digital electronic transmission and direct-drive electric motor powered by lithium batteries.

Prior to it’s sale at Sotheby’s this past weekend, it’s only been ridden a few times in the manufacturing facility to make sure it works, but that’s it.

Whoever ened the auction with $77,000 less in their bank account is getting a like-new Tron light cycle that is unlike any other.

Now that’s truly cool.
