One magical piece of wearable technology, two radically different parody videos.

The first takes a jab at the seemingly never-ending supply of superlatives Jony Ive uses to describe the Apple Watch. The other reminds us just how precious watches are to people determined to pass them along as keepsakes at all costs. See them both below.

Starry-eyed Jony Ive Apple Watch parody

First the Jony Ive video, done in a semi-psychedelic, New Age style that makes Apple’s design guru sound like he’s loaded on liquor and ludes.

He might have made all these claims about his wearable baby’s impressive features, but he certainly never sounded this ridiculous doing so. How totally relaxing, what with the flute and the nature sounds!

Pulp Fiction Apple Watch parody

Then there’s the NSFW video based on Christopher Walken’s POW watch scene from Pulp Fiction. Frankly, nothing can top the shock value of the original scene from Quentin Tarantino’s movie, but hey — Christopher Walken! And Apple Watch!

If nothing else, the videos are a good way to waste a few minutes while you await delivery of your Apple Watch. (Don’t be too jealous of the people who already got theirs.)
