Apple Store Wedding: iDo

Lots of folks have proposed at Apple stores or even had Apple-inspired wedding cakes, but do you love Apple enough to say iDo there?

This might be the first couple to get hitched at an Apple retail without permission, flash-mob style, by a celebrant dressed like Steve Jobs who pronounced the solemn vows from an iPhone. The news was first tweeted by an Apple employee of New York’s Fifth Avenue store.

Groom Joshua told Entertainment Weekly he met his bride-to-be Ya Ting at an Apple retail store:

“We got to know each other because Ting was looking to buy an iPod…and I managed to strike up a conversation that way.” Romance blossomed for the two iLovebirds. “I used to joke that the Apple Store is my church because I am not religious, and I loved everything Apple,” Josh adds.

In addition to the location, Steve Jobs was invoked during the ceremony (“You have to trust in something: your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.”)

The rings were carried on a 1st gen iPod and her vows were written on a card that said “I love you more than this” followed by a picture of an iPhone.
