The promise of rock-hard abs is still not incentive enough to get many men to the gym. But promise a rock-hard — well, you know — and you might launch a boner-fide exercise craze.

The makers of Private Gym guarantee “100 percent satisfaction” for gents and their partners, thanks to a pelvic fitness program that includes a rather chunky-looking piece of wearable tech.

Regular exercise is the closest thing we have to a fountain of youth, and we get bombarded with messages imploring us to stay active and get our muscles into shape. The muscles supporting the penis are no different, according to the urologists, trainers and marketing team involved with Private Gym.

Erectile dysfunction can be an unwelcome visitor to men over 40, an age when the pelvic muscles tend to weaken with the advancement of time. Medications like Viagra and Cialis, which increase blood flow, have been a godsend for men so afflicted, although the pills can trigger unwanted side effects.

Private Gym is an FDA-registered DVD training program that includes a resistance ring (not for your wrist, duh) with a magnetic weight. It comes in charcoal gray and orange, and one size fits all.

There are two training programs, basic and complete, at $59.99 and $99.99. The basic four-week program teaches squeeze-and-release exercises for pelvic muscles and provides access to online training videos and private chats with trainers.

But just as there are no shortcuts for better biceps, the more expensive eight-week program promises to increase the load (um, sorry) and the results. The resistance ring and magnet becomes part of the training. There are also exercises that require “rigid erections with or without medication.”

While better sex is the clear selling point, Private Gym also is said to improve urinary and prostate health.

There’s no mention of HealthKit compatibility, but Private Gym does promise delivery in “discreet packaging.”
