Leather ‘taco’ will stop keys from scratching your iPhone

You probably spent a lot on your iPhone, and you don’t want something like your car and house keys scratching it up when you cram all of them into the same pocket.

Sure, you could slap a case on there. Or you could keep your keys and phone in separate pockets. That’s what I started doing, but that was mainly because I had a hole in the secondary pocket, and the phone was the only thing that wouldn’t fall through it when I walked.

Those are sound solutions, but if you insist on keeping both your keys and phone equally handy, here’s a solution from minimalist-accessory store Campbell Cole that will make both you and the inanimate objects you cart around happy: It’s a little bit of leather with a snap that keeps your janglers as cozy as puppies under a blanket.

Caroline Williamson at Design Milk describes the Simple Key Wrap as a “taco,” and that looks pretty accurate. The product comes in four colors: blue, black, “Oak” (brown), and “Pebble Grey” (gray). And it clips together with a simple snap to ensure that metal and Gorilla Glass never meet.

How much would you pay for the convenience and peace of mind to let your scratchers and scratchees peacefully coexist? You can pick them up at Campbell Cole’s online shop for £25 (a little over $39).

Or, again, different pockets. It’s not really that inconvenient.
