Happy Friday! Mac Games and More has once again picked out a collection of fun casual games you might not have heard of, to play into the weekend. The games include Cook offs across America, Earth Wind & Fire, A Million Dollar Shopping Spree and more.
The Clumsys 2 Butterfly Effect – If you played The Clumsys 1, you might remember that Grandpa dabbled in time travel that ended up in zany antics all over the place. The sequel, The Clumsys 2 Butterfly Effect, takes you to more grampy time travel when he inadvertently brings back a butterfly from prehistoric times. So, here’s where you come in. Join Helen and rediscover all of civilization’s greatest discoveries that never happened in this hidden objects game for Mac, while Grandpa stays home working at reviving the prehistoric butterfly. Hot Dish 2 Cross Country Cook Off – Remember the Mac game, United States of Pool, where players crossed the country after completing a series of pool matches? Hot Dish 2 Cross Country Cook Off, would be a remote cousin, a United States of Food of sorts, where gamers combine traveling across the country with competing at regional cook offs. You’ll be joining chefs from all over America, and you’ll need to master a multitude of local dishes like Gumbo from Louisiana, Shrimp & Scallop Kebabs from Maine, Boston Baked Beans, just to name a few. Ultimately you’re vying for a place in the final round of the Gourmet Grand Prix. Download it

Annie’s Millions – Have you wondered what you’d buy if you had a million dollars? Or is that just me? Anyway, with this new Mac game, Annie’s Millions, live vicariously through Annie, as she spends a million dollars in order to inherit her uncle’s fortune. You see, her eccentric uncle has decided to pass on his riches while he’s still alive but he’s not sure who to give this inheritance to. I don’t know why he can’t just split it up and give it to everyone – but I suppose that would be less interesting so he decided to instigate a friendly family competition among Annie and her cousins. To fuel the fire in this money race, time is of the essence. Whoever spends a million dollars first, and spends it wisely, will win uncle’s jackpot. In each hidden objects scene, you’ll need to find and purchase everything on the list to move on to a new buying spree scene. Spend away until you reach a total of one million dollars! Note: if you need to use a hint, you have to earn it by playing mini-games. Download it

Be Rich – Enter a world of magic and mystery inhabited by elementals (spirits of water, earth, fire, energy, air and primeval nature). Embark on a hidden objects adventure to help out the young magician, Albert, and restore the Key of Eiron and save his sister who was kidnapped by the wicked sorcerer, Sibelius. Your assistant, Felly, will faithfully follow and help you. Solve brain-bending puzzles, search for hidden items and beat the bad guys with board game battles. Download it

EcoRescue Project Rainforest – You hopefully will not feel AS guilty playing Eco Rescue Project Rainforest as you might with other games some call “time wasters” – and we could use any excuse we can to play games, right? There’s no made up story about someone getting kidnapped and you having to rescue them, and there’s no fictitious evil curse to be lifted by your gaming skills. Here, you’ll jump right into a factual milieu. While you do play a conservationist, the prodigious information about the world’s rain forests is true. Your official mission is to restore the rain forests all over the world by removing their pollution. With hidden object game play, identify changes in the environment, help out the animals in danger of losing their habitats and restore the regions. All throughout this Mac game, learn fascinating facts about various environments as you rescue the rain forests being threatened by Man. Download it |
