Of all the carriers you could possibly get your iPhone 6 through, AT&T is one of the worst. But starting on Sunday, signing a new two-year contract with AT&T is going to get a little more attractive, especially if you use a lot of data: for a limited time, Ma Bell is offering double the data for Mobile Share Value Plans.

Beginning Sunday, Sept. 28, AT&T is offering new promotional Mobile Share Value plans that double the amount of data offered on plans between 15GB to 50 GB of data.

That means if you’re a new or existing customer who signs up now, you get 30GB of bandwidth a month, instead of 15GB. And that includes domestic unlimited talk and text, as well as unlimited international messaging from the U.S. to select countries.

AT&T claims that if you sign-up by October 31st, the data plan will never expire, although AT&T has said that about unlimited data plans in the past too, and we all see how that has gone: AT&T can get sleazy sometimes when they want to move you off a plan you don’t want to give up.

Still, if you’re a heavy data user, this offer by AT&T makes a new two-year contract a little more palatable. And while you’re at it, if you add a new line of service with a smartphone on AT&T Next will receive a $100 credit. Not shabby.
