Apple fans, are you ready for some football? Because NFL Now is ready to blitz Apple TV users with a trove of on-demand video and other football content straight from its brand new channel dedicated to everything football.

Just in time for the regular season kick off on September 4th, Apple TV has added the NFL Now channel which provides free access to the NFL’s massive video library of game highlight, press conferences, classic games, NFL Films and more.

NFL Now made its official debut on iOS earlier this month and league officials say they plan to made the service available on Kindle Fire, Yahoo Screen, and Amazon Fire TV as well before the start of the 2014 season.

Personalized content can be accessed from the new NFL Now channel, which curates a stream of highlights and news based on your favorite teams and players. The new football channel joins a host of other sports channels that have been added to Apple TV over the last two years, including the NBA, MLB.TV, NHL, MLS, ACC Sports, Red Bull TV and Willow.

NFL Now doesn’t support live-streaming games, but you can sign up for the premium version for an extra $1.99 a month to get access to more game-day highlights, archive footage, and live-streaming access to NFL RedZone. Plus, it also gets rid of all the annoying ads.
