Daily Deals: $499 iPad, $599 MacBook, $799 MacBook Pro

Just a day after Apple’s announcement, we have the iPad topping our list of deals for Mac fans. The 16GB version of the thin, lightweight device is $499 and the 32GB version is $599. Next on tap is a number of MacBooks, starting at $599 for a 2GB model with 80GB hard drive and 2GB of RAM. Finally, if you’d like a MacBook Pro, there is a $799 price on a 2.16GHz version with a 15-inch screen.

Most existing apps in the Apple App Store are supported, although they’ll run either as a tiny box in the center of the screen or in a 2:1 pixel-doubled mode. More information will be posted as its made available. The base models are shipping within 60 days; the 3G models will ship 30 days after that. The iPads:

(It’s the lowest total price we’ve seen for this configuration bundled with iLife 09.) Features include an Intel Core Duo 1.83GHz dual-core processor, 17″ 1440×960 widescreen LCD, 1GB RAM, 80GB hard drive, DVD/CD-RW combo drive, and iLife 09. A 30-day MegaMacs warranty applies. Deal ends February 2.

The Apple Store now has six factory-refurbished Apple Mac Pro workstations on sale in its Special Deals section, with prices starting at $2,149. (With free shipping, it’s the lowest total price we’ve seen for these Mac Pros in weeks.) All are lower than the best price we could find for a new one, typically by wide margins. Sales tax is added where applicable. A 1-year warranty applies, the same as new systems. Items are removed from Apple’s site when they sell out. The refurbished Mac Pro systems:
