Mojang has rolled out its “biggest update ever” for Minecraft: Pocket Edition, adding unlimited worlds, tons of new content, and a multitude of tweaks, fixes, and improvements. Players will be able to enjoy a plethora of new blocks, mobs, blomes — and a new AI that brings spiders, leaf rendering, drip particles, and an “immersive mode.”

If you’re already a Minecraft player, then you should be incredibly excited about this update, which greatly improves the pocket-sized Minecraft experience. And if you’re not, it’s the perfect reason to finally pick up an incredibly expansive  title that will surely keep you entertained (and without a tan!) throughout the summer.

Some of the new features in this update include unlimited worlds for the first time on mobile, a new cutting algorithm, new culling of clouds, and new falling mechanics for gravel and sand. In addition to this, there’s more content that we could possibly fit into just one post, including more than 20 new blocks, five new mobs, and 13 new and updated blomes.

Mojang has also made some tweaks and improvements to caves, introduced a new AI, and fixed a whole bunch of bugs. For the complete list of changes, check out the company’s blog post by following the source link below.

You can enjoy these new features on Android early by joining Mojang’s Google+ community and signing up for updates — though the update may be a bit buggy right now. Those who would prefer to wait for the stable release should see it in Google Play and on iOS will get it via the App Store “in the near future.”

If you don’t already own Minecraft: Pocket Edition, you can get it on Android and iOS now for $6.99 by following the links below.
