The ad is signed by the CEOs of AOL, Apple, Dropbox, Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Twitter and Yahoo, all of which also signed a similar letter last November.
In the past 12 months Apple’s privacy policies have been boosted to the delight of privacy rights groups, while Tim Cook has played his role in the campaign by doing video appearance with Brian Williams about the NSA, and even meeting with President Obama to talk about reform.
