There are a number of way to track emoji use on Twitter but this globe of real-time emoji tweeted across the world has me so spellbound I can’t look away.
Good thing too, because unlike EmojiTracker, it won’t cause a seizure.
Created by Bradley Griffith, the project is called Silicon Feelings and while it doesn’t show every emoji ever tweeted, it uses data from EmojiTracker to cull the top 400 emoji that have also been tagged from a particular location to show what people across Earth are feeling on Twitter.
The result is a mesmerizing spinning globe, spewing out random emoji that makes you wonder why everyone in the UK is tweeting tears at 1 am.
