If you told me I could only shop at one candy store from now on, that candy store would be Photojojo. The sweet photo gadgets that appear new in the store every week constantly test my resolve not to tap in a credit card number.
The latest temptation? The DryZone Duffel, which is a waterproof camera bag.
It’s spring, and in Germany – where I currently reside – spring means barbecues in the park, hiking and kayaking. And kayaking requires waterproof gear. And it there’s one thing the Germans are good t it’s having the right gear for the job.
The LowePro DryZone Duffel isn’t German, but it could be. It’s a bright yellow roll-top tote with a padded inner bag (which can be used separately) and all the usual padded, configureable dividers you’d find in any other camera bag.
There are also a couple of zippered pockets on the side, and lots of straps for attaching other hear or for attaching the bag to your kayak, bike or other water-bound vehicle.
The bag will survive a full dunk in the water, and if you do lose it, the color will help you find the thing again.
Available now, for $150. That’s cheaper than insurance!
