Facebook Pages Manager Adds New Pinning And Unpinning Feature

Facebook has updated its Facebook Pages Manager app, adding several notable improvements.

Pages Manager — for those unfamiliar with it — helps admins connect with their audience and keep up with activity on multiple Pages, all in one place. Users can monitor Page activity using Insights, reply to private messages, and post media.

In addition to the usual bug fixes and performance improvements, the app’s latest update adds new pinning and editing features.

Pages users can now pin and unpin posts to the top of their Page timelines from inside the app, allowing them to highlight important events and other announcements. You can also create and edit pages on iPad, and more.

Below are a list of all the new features to make their way into Version 3.0:

• Pin and unpin posts to the top of the Page Timeline
• Create and edit events on iPad
• Import phone contacts and invite them to like your Page (US only)
• Turn photos on Page Timeline and photo albums into profile pictures

Facebook Pages Manager can be downloaded for free from the App Store, compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
