iWork’s web apps have lagged behind Apple’s iOS and Mac apps in terms of design and functionality, but no more! Apple has redesigned the iWork for iCloud suite to make it look more like its iOS 7 counterpart.

Available to use now on iCloud.com, today’s updates to Pages, Numbers, and Keynote brings a unified look and feel to the iWork suite across all platforms.

Each app’s editing interface has been stripped of the old, iOS 6-ish design and replaced with a flatter, minimalistic design akin to iOS 7. Some new features have also been added, including the ability to edit charts in imported docs, share view-only docs, and open directly from iCloud Mail. Those with Retina displays will find that the apps look much clearer and crisper.

Apple is noting that updates to iWork for iOS and Mac are coming out today as well. Until then, documents created in iWork for iCloud won’t be compatible within the current app versions of Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.
