Cylinder’s Dancing Icons Now Available On Cydia [Jailbreak]

Barrel-inspired jailbreak tweak Cylinder has been updated and listed on Cydia’s BigBoss repo.

The tweak allows users to add animations to their iPhone Home screen. These animations can be created via special Lua scripts — a lightweight, but powerful scripting language — and then layered on top of one another to create customized effects.

The default animations available include icons curling up and rolling away, page squeezes, vertical scrolling, and many others. Currently there are 45 icon effects, which means that if you take combinations into account, there are 35,184,372,088,832 effects — along with any you choose to create yourself. Effects can be created via “formulas” or randomized.

It’s a lot of fun, and the fact that it’s free makes it doubly worth taking a look at.
