Thanks to a glitch in iOS 7, it was possible to put folders inside of other folders. With iOS 7.1, Apple fixed the glitch, but lo and behold, they seem to have missed an even bigger glitch that makes it much easier to accomplish the same thing. Here’s how.

Basically, the way it works is you take advantage of the relative slowness of iOS 7.1’s animations to drag one folder into another folder while it’s being created.

More explicitly, here are the steps, courtesy of Macgasm:

1. Create a folder that contains at least two apps. This is the folder that will go inside of another folder.
2. Take two other apps and use them to create a second folder.
3. Immediately after you create this second folder, tap and hold your finger back on the original folder that you created.
4. You’ll see that you may now simply drag that second folder right into the first one.

For those of us who love the matryoshka-like joys of endless nesting categories, here’s a scratch for your itch!
