Dropbox is planning an update that will let you switch between home and work accounts, according to the Verge. The new service will be announced on April 9th, and will let users switch between accounts without logging out of either.

This is undoubtedly handy for folks who are forced to use a work Dropbox account as well as their own, but there are a few other features I’d like to see first. Like support for Dropbox Albums in the iOS app, making Dropbox a legitimate place to store your entire photo collection. And maybe some cheaper rates now that Google Drive has ruined us with its 1TB storage option for just $10 per month and 100GB for a mere $2.

Then again, I guess that business users are the customers most likely to pay for a service, so it makes sense to keep them happy. Hell, maybe we can convince our own Leander “skinflint” Kahney to get us a Cult of Mac Dropbox account.
