Tales from the Borderlands developers Telltale Games and Gearbox Software will reveal the first details about their forthcoming game during a panel at the SXSW Gaming Expo, Telltale revealed today.
The award-winning studios will describe how they first came to work together on the eagerly-anticipated project, how the game might unfold, and (hopefully) plenty of other juicy details.
The panel will consist of Gearbox President Randy Pitchford, Borderlands 2 writer Anthony Burch, Borderlands Franchise Director Matthew Armstrong, Telltale President Kevin Bruner, and designer Harrison Pink. Better still, the session will be moderated by none other than Kumail Nanjiani and Emily V. Gordon, hosts of the Nerdist Network’s video game podcast, “The Indoor Kids.”
People attending the exclusive SXSW event — called “Two Sides to Every Story” — will have an opportunity to quiz the developers about any aspect of Tales from the Borderlands.
The panel takes place from 5:30-6:15 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, at the Palmer Events Center in Austin, Texas.
Tales from the Borderlands will make its Mac debut (along with Windows PC, assorted consoles, and mobile devices) later this year.
