For those of us who live the lives of professional bloggers, here’s a common occurence. You wake up in the morning and load up a bunch of tabs of stories you want to read that day. Soon, you have two or three dozen tabs open, one of which has an auto-playing video. And no matter how hard you try, you can’t bloody find the thing!

Yeah. Chrome just fixed that.

Although the feature has been poking around the beta channels since November last year, Chrome for PC and OS X just pushed a useful new feature that adds an icon to any tab that is currently playing sound, making it easy for you to see at a glance which of your myriad tabs is the loudmouth.

If you already use Chrome, all you have to do to install the update is close your browser and reopen it. Thank god for that.
