Better Late Than Never: Official WWDC 2013 Gets Updated

With the next Worldwide Developer Conference a few months away (good luck getting tickets), it seems a little strange that Apple would go through the trouble of updating last year’s WWDC 2013 app with some fixes, but delve a little deeper and it makes sense.

The WWDC 2013 app serves a couple purposes. For people who downloaded it ahead of the 2013 show, it was a useful catalog of events at the show, a helpful way to keep up with your schedule, and an easy way to find out where the heck you’re going next.

None of that functionality, however, is particularly useful now that the show has ended. But the WWDC 2013 did still have some life in it, thanks to it affording registered developers the ability to log-in and watch session videos from the last conference. Unfortunately, there was a bug in the app that prevented the videos from loading reliably.

Hence Apple’s latest update, and if you’re a developer who is still drawing upon the well of knowledge from last year’s WWDC, it’s an important one. You can grab it for free from the link below.
