Booq’s Nerve Is A Messenger Bag For Suits

What would happen if you took a dork-o-lithic nylon “Executive Laptop Case” and tossed it onto a (giant) blender with a Chrome messenger bag? Well, I guess the blender would choke and break, but if you used a metaphorical blender then you’d end up with a slurry that could be turned into the Boa Nerve, a bag designed to take you “from the conference room to your bike.”

The Nerve is a full-on messenger-style bag, complete with cinch-able shoulder strap and stabilizing cross-strap, all organized in a system that will be suspiciously familiar to Chrome bag owners – there’s even a fastening on the shoulder strap, although instead of a seatbelt buckle theres a magnetic clasp.

Look familiar?

Inside things get a little more creative, with various pockets for a pens and other small items, plus a padded sleeve for your MacBook and a side pocket capable of holding a U-lock and reflective strips on the top flap to catch car headlights.

The construction looks just as rugged and well-considered as you’d expect from Booq, although if you don’t like pockets and padding then maybe a real Chrome bag will be more your style. Pricing, the two are about equal, with Booq’s Nerve coming in at $150.

Available to order now for shipping on December 26th.
