One of my favorite parts of the Kanex Multi-Sync keyboard I reviewed in October. In fact, I said that “Kanex could sell it as a standalone product and do well.” And guess what? You can now buy it, in a pack of two, for just $18.
The stand is now called the Foldable iDevice Stand, which is just about the best description you could come up with. When not in use the stand is a flat piece of plastic, and can easily be carried in a pocket or pouch. But when you unfold its three panels, Transformers-style, it becomes a very sturdy stand for anything from the iPhone up to the fat iPad 3/4.
The stand can be set to any of three angles – 63°, 69° and 75° – and is strong enough to hold steady at any of them. Finally. A lip on the front keeps even the heaviest device in place.
At $18 for two, this is a steal. And now you don;t have to buy a whole keyboard to get one.
