The question of whether there exists such a thing as an objectively perfect work of art remains the stuff of artistic scholarship and debates, but one particular artist feels they’ve cracked the question of how to improve a time-honored masterpiece — by adding in a number of Apple products.

A new project called Art x Smart by artist Kim Dong-Kyu takes classic paintings, and adds in contemporary elements in the form of new technologies. What we wind up with is Johannes Vermeer’s “Girl With A Pearl Earring” reimagined as “Girl With A Pearl Earring And An iPhone’,  Georges-Pierre Seurat’s “A Sunday Afternoon On The Island Of La Grande Jatte” with added iOS devices, and Vincent Van Gogh’s “The Bedroom’, complete with charging MacBook Air.

Jony Ive must be very proud.
