Spotify Finally Updated For iOS 7

Great track. Awesome playlist.

The Spotify app for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch has finally been updated to support iOS 7. There are some subtle interface changes that better fit iOS 7’s new design guidelines, but it’s not quite the overhaul you may have been expecting.

As you can see from the screenshots above, the new Spotify app is slightly “flatter” for iOS 7 — particularly when it comes to buttons and sliders — and a different font is used throughout.

The new icon, which was introduced back in July, has been changed ever so slightly, but it remains largely the same (even though the old Spotify icon would look much better under iOS 7).

In addition to the design changes, this update fixes “some bugs that were irritating us,” according to Spotify’s release notes. You can download it now from the App Store.
