TweetDeck for Mac, the free Twitter client from Twitter that’s not the official Twitter client, has been updated to make it easier for users to tweet, send DMs, and preview images before you share them. Composing, publishing, and replying to tweets is now faster than ever before.
The new “docked panel” that can be fixed to the left-side of the app lets you quickly compose tweets without having to tell TweetDeck you want to do so beforehand. Simply click the “stay open” button at the bottom of the pop-out panel and it will remain open even after you’ve published your tweet.
In addition to this, there’s now an inline reply feature that makes it quicker to reply to tweets, too. You can also preview images in the compose panel before sharing them — which should prevent you from publishing the wrong snaps accidentally — and you’ll also find support for autocomplete usernames and hashtags.
The new TweetDeck update is available to download now from the Mac App Store, and as always, it’s completely free.
