Steve Jobs’ ex-girlfriend, Chrisann Brennan, who dated the Apple co-founder for five years in the early days of Apple, is coming out with her own book, called The Bite In The Apple, where she describes all the glorious details that went into her and Jobs’ ill-fated relationship that ended after Brennan became pregnant with Steve’s first child, Lisa.

While the book focuses on more than just sex, the NY Post has published an excerpt that dives into Steve and Chris’ nights of lovemaking that were so epic Steve had to give her a call 15 years later to say thank you.

“Even after swapping rooms in this way, Steve and I still shared nights of lovemaking so profound that, astonishingly, some fifteen years later, he called me out of the blue to thank me for them. He was married at the time of his call and all I could think of was, Whoa . . . men . . . are . . . really . . . different. Imagine if I had called him to say such a thing.

We remembered different things. Mainly I recalled how awful he was becoming and how I was starting to flounder. But he was right: our lovemaking had been sublime. At the time of Steve’s phone call, I found that as I listened I was as awed by the memory as by his strange need to risk an expression of such intimacy.

Besides dispensing details on El Jobso’s performance in the bedroom, Brennan also reveals how Steve was a colossal jerk when they were dating and tried to make her go through primal therapy by screaming “Mommy, Daddy, Mommy, Daddy” after taking some LSD, even though Steve himself had only read a book on primal therapy.

The entire excerpt is well worth a read and also contains a funny bit about how Jobs believed he was a WWII pilot in a previous life, so when he was driving he would get a “strong impulse to pull the steering wheel back as if for takeoff.”

Jobs and Brennan broke up in 1977 once Brennan became pregnant and gave birth to Lisa. Steve denied being the father, even after a paternity test in 1979 proved he was the daddy. Brennan is now a painter and graphic designer living in Monterey California. Her book, The Bite in the Apple: A Memoir of My Life With Steve Jobs goes on sale October 29th.
