Apple has today announced that the iPhone 5s and the iPhone 5c will both reach another 35 countries on Friday, October 25. Italy, Russia, and Spain will be included in the second phase of the new iPhone rollout, along with a number of other countries across Europe and Asia.

The devices will then reach India, Mexico, and more than a dozen more countries on Friday, November 1.

The list of countries to receive the iPhone 5s and the iPhone 5c on Friday, October 25, includes Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, French West Indies, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macau, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Reunion Island, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, and Thailand.

One week later, on Friday, November 1, the devices will then go on sale in Albania, Armenia, Bahrain, Colombia, El Salvador, Guam, Guatemala, India, Macedonia, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and UAE.

The iPhone 5s and the iPhone 5c first made their debut in the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, and a handful of other countries on Friday, September 20. The iPhone 5s has been particularly difficult to get hold of ever since — especially the gold and silver models — and Apple stores and carriers continue to sell out soon after they get new stock in.

“iPhone 5s redefines the best smartphone experience in the world with amazing new features all packed into a remarkable thin and light design, including the Apple-designed A7 64-bit chip, all-new 8 megapixel iSight camera with True Tone flash and introducing Touch ID, an innovative way to simply and securely unlock your phone with just the touch of a finger,” Apple said in its press release this morning.

The iPhone 5c, on the other hand, has been readily available almost everywhere.

So another 35 countries that won’t be able to get an iPhone 5s, shouldn’t they be focusing on making inventory avaialble in the countries that already can get them?

The only problem with what should be good news for Apple will be turned into a major problem for Apple by the analysts. They’ll say that most of these countries can’t afford iPhones because the cost of the iPhone is too high for those consumers. That and, of course, iPhone inventory shortages. If DoCoMo can’t get enough iPhones to sell then maybe there is some supply problem. I wouldn’t be surprised if Apple has already pre-alloted a limited amount of iPhones to all those countries. Besides, all those 35 countries are supposedly mostly Android smartphone users from what I’ve heard from analysts.

Why don’t they put the inventory in the countries that can afford the damn phone! I have been looking for a damn week every night checking the apple store and there are almost none for ATT in any color.

Anybody can tell me when iPhone 5S will be available in Mauritius?

That’s interesting that it can “launch” in another country when there are more people looking than actually have here in the US. Don’t really understand that. Also, how are they going to sell them on Virgin mobile when the big boys don’t have enough to meet demand?
