4 hours after it became available for preorder on the official Apple site, the iPhone 5s is in short supply.
The biggest demand so far seems to be for the new gold iPhone 5s model, where pre-orders across all three U.S. carriers have already shipped to October. Other models, however, are faring better.
For the space gray iPhone 5s, the Sprint model in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions still ships in 1-3 business days, with AT&T and Verizon models available in between 7-10 business days.
For the silver iPhone 5s, the 16GB version is available on Sprint in 1-3 business days, and on AT&T and Verizon in 7-10 business days. For the 32GB model, only Verizon ships in 1-3 business days. Finally, for the 64GB model, both Sprint and Verizon ship in 1-3 business days.
Right now, it seems like Sprint and Verizon are the best places to be if you want an iPhone 5s quickly and don’t care about the color, and AT&T is the worst, but obviously, demand is going to continue to grow over the course of the morning, so get your orders in now.
