Scrawl On Your Printed Photos With The Vandalijst Picture Frame

If you take a lot of pictures on your iPhone, I can highly recommend the Canon Selphy CP900, a dye-sub photo printer which spits out 6×4 prints, and connects wirelessly to iPhones, iPads and Macs.

I’ve had one for a couple months, and the result is that I have a bunch of iPhonographs littering the apartment. It’s addictive, but now I don’t know what to do with all these prints. This graffiti-ready picture frame, though, might provide an answer.

The Vandalijst, by designer Brian Khouw, is a picture frame that comes with a marker, ready to draw moustaches and penises on your favorite photos. The gimmick is that you can do this without harming the photo inside, and that you can erase your scribblings when you get bored with them (although I know I’ll just be replacing them with more ’stache’n’phallus drawings).

The sad news is that you’ll have to make your own, as this is just a concept design. The happier news is that the prints from the Selphy work out at around thirty cents each, so you can just graffiti up your masterpieces directly. Hey, it worked for Marcel Duchamp.
