Shadowgun: DeadZone, the award-winning multiplayer shooter that has attracted millions of players on Android and iOS, is now available to download on your Mac.

Like its mobile counterparts, the desktop version is completely free, and you can even sign into the same account you’ve already been playing with — so all the characters and weapons you’ve upgraded will be available to you right away.

What’s great about Shadowgun on Mac is that it supports cross-platform play, so you can enter games and compete with other players on Android and iOS. The downside to this is that those playing with a mouse and keyboard will always have a slight advantage, but the upside is there will always be plenty of people online to play with.

You’ll find the Deathmatch and Zone Control game modes that you’re already familiar with, plus all the same maps and characters — all of which rank up as you progress through the game. There are also 21 upgradeable weapons to choose from, and equipment like flash bangs, EMP grenades, frag grenades, and sentry guns.

Shadowgun: DeadZone for Mac supports English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Russian, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese, and you can download it now from the Mac App Store by clicking the source link below.
