Twelve South, one of Cult of Mac’s favorite accessory makers, has a new stand out called the HiRise. Announced today, the elegant, metallic device is designed for holding the iPhone 5 and iPad mini. Like most of Twelve South’s products, the HiRise looks right at home amongst your other Apple products.

“We love HiRise because it provides such a great home for your iPhone when you’re not on the go,” said Twelve South Creative Director Andrew Green. “Park your iPhone on HiRise to keep it fully charged, display incoming messages and alerts, and video chat, hands-free, with FaceTime or Skype with your camera facing right at you. It’s a simple device, but once you use it, it’s hard to live without it.”

The stand comes with three adjustable height clips and requires you to feed your Lightning cable up to your device’s port. Most cases can be left on while using the HiRise, like the OtterBox Defender, Speck CandyShell, and (of course) Twelve South’s own cases.

You can order the HiRise from Twelve South now for $34.99.
