Since the dawn of time, Verizon has dominated customer satisfaction rankings thanks to its network reliability and customer service. Sadly, the king has been overthrown as AT&T topped J.D. Power’s latest rankings for wireless care satisfaction for the first time ever.

Not only did AT&T become the new king of the wireless-mountain, it also posted the highest score by any carrier in J.D. Power’s last three customer service studies with an overall score of 795.

J.D. Power’s study was conducted by polling 7,373 wireless customers during the first six months of 2013. T-Mobile came in with the lowest score of the nation’s four major wireless carriers and when it comes to non-contract carriers, MetroPCS nabbed the top spot for the second consecutive report.
