You knew there’d have to be a Lone Ranger iOS game, and it’s up now at the App Store, just in time for the release of the movie starring Johnny Depp.
From the gameplay video clip, it looks like the developers have lassoed in third-person showdown elements that echo Red Dead Redemption, and combined that with violent overhead gun-battle scenes and (rough-looking) 3D cutscenes where you meet characters from the movie.
Is it worth checking out? No clue, but apart from the in-app purchase offerings, the game is free, so all it’ll cost you is time.
