Microsoft just loves to poke fun at the iPad, doesn’t it?

It has already aired a number of commercials for the Asus VivoTab that mock its size, weight, lack of Office support, its inability to run two apps simultaneously, and most of all its price. And now the software giant is doing the same on behalf of Dell.

In a new commercial for the XPS 10, Dell’s latest Windows 8 slate, Microsoft points out that the iPad is incapable of zooming out when you pinch its home screen (as if anyone cares), that it cannot accept a microSD card, that it cannot run two apps at once, and that it’s $200 more expensive.

Microsoft isn’t the first to poke fun at one of Apple’s devices, and it certainly won’t be the last. But of course, Apple will get the last laugh here, because the iPad continues to outsell Windows 8 tablets at a rather embarrassing rate.
