1Password For Mac And iOS Now Half Price For A Limited Time

1Password-4-iPhone

1Password, the ultimate password manager for Mac and iOS from AgileBits, is now half price for a limited time on iOS. The discount comes just two weeks after the app was updated with a whole host of new features and improvements following user feedback.

1Password is quite possibly the best password manager money can buy for Mac and iOS. Not only will it keep a record or your login details for your favorite websites, but also credit card number, passport information, bank account details, secure notes, and lots, lots more.

And everything you save is protected by military grade 256-bit AES encryption. So even if you happen to lose your iOS device, all of your passwords are completely safe.

Your data will also sync across all your Mac and iOS devices (providing you have 1Password installed on them), so that no matter which one you’re using, you have the information you need at your fingertips. Other features include a built-in web browser, an attachment viewer, the ability to organize your data into folders, and a powerful search feature.

1Password 4 usually costs $17.99 on iOS and 1Password costs $49.99 on Mac, but for a limited time only, you can get it for $8.99 and $24.99 respectively. That’s a 50% saving. We’re not sure how long the deal will last, though, so bag 1Password now while it’s cheap.

1Password 4 for MAC does not exist… yet, Not in their website, not in their blog, not in their MAS, please fix your article. Thank you

Yes, this refers to version 3.9.6 so probably they’re trying to sell a few more before the launch. Also, they’ll surely have some upgrade options for existing customers, if it’s not a free upgrade that is.

Thanks for the mention Killian! Though I’d like to submit one little tweak: 1Password 4 for Mac isn’t out yet, it’s only out for iOS (released in December). Would you mind tweaking that in the headline?

However, the good news is that if you buy 1Password for Mac or PC from our web store, or 1Password for Mac in the Mac App Store, you’ll get a free upgrade to 1Password 4 once it lands!

Except there is no way to enter any “coupon code” for iTunes Store or Mac App Store purchases, where these are currently on sale.

How come the Agile Store version is stuck on version 3.8.21 but the App Store version is 3.9?

That is good news indeed! Because your FAQ says this:

“If I buy 1Password 3.8 from the Agile Store, can I still get a free copy of 1Password 4?

We have not yet announced our free upgrade terms for customers who purchase from the Agile Store. However, if you purchase from the Mac App Store, you will get a free upgrade to 1Password 4.”

    Err… yeah it does.

Er… no it doesn’t. The current Mac version of 1Password available in all those places is version 3.
