Bird Slinging Goes Social In Angry Birds Friends, Now Available On iOS

Angry-Birds-Friends

Angry Birds Friends, the latest bird slinger from Rovio, has today landed on iOS. It’s a little different from the other titles in the series, because this one’s all about social gaming, rather than playing alone. The game connects to Facebook, than allows you to challenge your buddies to weekly tournaments, and brag about your highest scores.

You can also team up with friends to tackle difficult levels, and send and receive gifts. New tournaments are added every week, giving you the chance to compete for bronze, silver, and gold trophies all over again. There are also daily rewards that give you free things for returning regularly.

The Angry Birds Friends name may already sound familiar, and that’s because the game has been available on Facebook for some time. But this is the first time it’s landed on mobile. If you’re already a Facebook player, however, you don’t need to start from scratch on your iOS device, because you can sync your progress between the two.

Angry Birds Friends is completely free to play on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, but it is ad-supported, and it requires a Wi-Fi or cellular connection. You can download it from the App Store now using the source link below.
