Twitterrific for iOS has received yet another new update that’s packed full with new features and improvements. In addition to app badges for push notifications, you’ll also find Favstar support, Twitter trends, and a long list of tweaks and bug fixes that’ll improve existing features.

With app badges enabled, a quick glance at the Twitterrific icon will tell you exactly how many replies, mentions, and direct messages you have waiting for you inside the app, so you don’t even need to open it up to see just how popular (or unpopular) you are.

This update also brings Favstar support, allowing you to view a user’s Favstar page from their profile by tapping and holding their avatar; as well as Twitter trends, which you can access by tapping “Search” in the sidebar, then “Tweets.”
