Edit: As several readers have pointed out, the film is also available on Hulu. Check it out.

MacHeads, the documentary on, well, the Cult of Mac, is now available to view for free online courtesy of SnagFilms, a documentary library. As Lonnie reported way back in January, the film premiered at MacWorld 2009 before an audience of more than 1,000 before seeing release on Amazon Unbox and iTunes.

    Now I’m embarrassed to be a Mac user :(

    @Ryan, I know!

    I think most of the people are OK, but they focus is always on the freaks! “I have never knowingly slept with a Windows user. That would never happen!”, FFS! You need to get out a little more, try to get a hobby my dear!

    Even the daft old bat singing about her pig ornaments and her husband lurking in his computer museum/shed, I can tolerate.

    The best comment from that whole film was from the two long-haired kids at the beginning. “Mac users will make very intelligent comments about O/S design, debate the merits and drawbacks of a particular O/S or GUI. Windows users come along and it’s always ‘Mac’s suck!’ or ‘Mac’s are rubbish!’.”
