Following yesterday’s horrific blasts that left three dead and over a hundred wounded at the Boston Marathon, the nearby Apple Street Boylston store has been closed temporarily.

The Boylston Street Apple Store — which is the Boston-area’s largest Apple Store — is situated very close to where the second explosive device went off yesterday around 2:50PM. It’s only a small block away.

Here’s a map of the area, via IFOStore on Twitter:

Apple has posted a note on the Apple.com Retail homepage, saying that the store is closed temporarily and that “our thoughts are with our neighbors in the community and everyone affected by Monday’s tragedy in Boston.”

Calls made to the Boylston Street Apple Store to ascertain when it would re-open for business were answered by an automated message, saying that the Store was experiencing “technical difficulties” that made talking to a live representative impossible.
